OUR VISION
Meeting all charitable needs.
Empowering Our Communities
Towards a Brighter Future
Meriden-Wallingford Community Foundation envisions two thriving communities where every individual, regardless of background or circumstance, has the opportunity to reach their full potential. We believe in the power of collective action and community-driven solutions to create lasting change. By investing endowments, memorial foundations and land trusts, and by fostering partnerships among local organizations, businesses, and residents, we are building a resilient foundation that supports the well-being of all its people.

Our vision is rooted in the belief that strong societies require education, health, and economic opportunities that are accessible to everyone. We aspire to be a catalyst for positive change, promoting innovation in every initiative we support. Through strategic investments, community engagement, and the nurturing of local leadership, we seek to address the most pressing challenges facing our Meriden and Wallingford today, while anticipating the needs of tomorrow.

We are committed to creating a culture of giving and volunteerism. Everyone can contribute and invest in the common good. As we work towards our vision, we will continually adapt and evolve, guided by the voices of those we serve. Together, we will create a future where the Meriden-Wallingford area is recognized as a model of community strength, resilience, and shared prosperity.
Our Mission
To encourage the creation of endowments to serve the Meriden and Wallingford communities now and in the future to address the charitable and humanitarian needs by providing resources into perpetuity.
